A project driven by poetry, turning painful moments in life into inspiring scenarios, where getting up and moving on are the only option. Music to inspire and drive. As i record and write, learn and progress, i try to implement those new learned mechanics and techniques you learn along the way into the newer songs. My band is named DRYWALL THERAPY, I would probably describe us by our influences which include: LP (of course :]), Depeche Mode, Orgy, Julien-k, Mute Math, The Postal Service, NIN, Paul Van Dyk...the list goes on probably forever but think of us as Electronica/Alt Rock/Indie. I'm from Russia and I create different music from ambient, downtempo and piano compositions to hard electronic and rock tracks. I began composing in 2006 and after one year became a member of the indie-label named "Liminal Recs" (www.liminalrecs.com) which helped me to start as an artist.

My name is Jamie (I am a guy :P), I have been interested in audio editing since about 2000-2001. I used to make remixes of Linkin Park's music through collaborations and the like and began taking interest in making my own music using real guitar, bass, and any other sounds I could come up with and mix them together. I am too cheap to buy a real drumset and an actual studio but a cheap microphone was good enough at the time. I am now using a Rock Band microphone to record my instruments (It sounds hilarious..but it actually picks up sound quite well.)
